In anticipation of the holiday season, my Kids department was swarmed by eager Christmas shoppers who left no shelf unturned. Despite the chaos, I am proud to share a collection of recent accomplishments that have earned me the prestigious Rivet of Excellence.
Creative Block -Fan Art
To overcome a creative block, I recently challenged myself to explore different styles by creating fan art for several digital creators. Among those I chose were three gaming streamers, @Corpse_Husband, @ZeRoyalViking, and @Valkyrae, as well as two characters from WEBTOON's Lore Olympus graphic novel and one sketch from the Netflix original anime Aggretsuko.
I experimented with various mediums and techniques to capture the unique personalities and characteristics of each creator, resulting in a diverse collection of art pieces.

#BLM is not a trend
1. Black Lives Matter is not a passing trend. You can take action by signing petitions such as "FLOYD" to 55156, "JUSTICE" to 668366, and "ENOUGH" to 551566. Donating to causes like @Bailproject, @Mnfreedomfund, @Brooklynbailfund, and @Blmlivesmater is also helpful. Additionally, following accounts like @Colorofchange, @blklivesmatter, @nationallawyersguid, and @civilrightsorg can provide further education and resources.
2. Voting for Trump is voting for a culture of misogyny and sexual harassment, as evidenced by his infamous "grab them by the pussy" remark. We must work towards ending the Pink Tax and giving women autonomy over their own bodies. We must also recognize the struggles of nonbinary and transgender individuals in discussions about reproductive rights.
3. When protesting, remember that the focus should be on uplifting Black voices and experiences. This is not about you; it is about supporting those who are hurting right now.
4. Do not vote for Trump. He has a history of racism and discrimination, including refusing to rent to Black people in the 1970s, hiding Black staff in his casinos in the 1980s, and advocating for the death penalty for the "Central Park Five" in 1989. He has made derogatory comments about Native Americans, Mexicans, and Muslims, and has retweeted material from white supremacists and neo-Nazis. He has also made racist comments about Black and brown congresswomen.
5. Educate yourself about Black history and acknowledge the biases and gaps in education that exist in schools. It is our responsibility to actively seek out information and check our own biases.
6. Protect the rights of transgender individuals by speaking out against harmful rhetoric and supporting inclusive individuals and companies. Silence and support for harmful individuals and companies only perpetuates harm towards the LGBT+ community.
7. Defunding the police is a necessary step towards criminal justice reform, as the majority of Black Lives Matter protests have been peaceful and calling for such reforms across all 50 states.
8. Say the names of those who have lost their lives due to systemic racism and police brutality, including George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Botham Jean, Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Philando Castile, Samuel Dubose, Sandra Bland, Walter Scott, Jordan Davis, Damian Daniels, Anthony McClain, Julian Lewis, Maurice Abisdid, Rayshard Brooks, Priscilla Slater, Robert Forbes, Kamak Flowers, Jamel Floyd, David McAtee, James Scurlock, Calvin Horton Jr, Tony McDade, Dion Johnson, Maurice Gordon, Cornelius Fredericks, Steven Taylor, Daniel Prude, Barry Gedeus, Manuel Ellis, Lionel Morris, Jaquyn O’Neill Light, William Green, and countless others.
9. #BlackoutTuesday is a way to show solidarity with the Black community by refraining from posting personal content on social media and instead sharing resources and amplifying Black voices.
